Summary - Website Pricing and Options

‘No Lemons’ has designed a range of different website options to meet the needs of small and medium businesses; from the single trader who needs to have a web presence to the medium sized e-commerce company selling exclusively via the Internet.

Prices range from under £200 (for Avocado) to around £2,000 (for Pineapple) depending on the number of website functions and size of the site. However for most businesses the cost of the website is between £200 and £900. This cost includes website design and set-up, domain name registration (.co.uk or .com) provision of an email service and website maintenance for a year.

At ‘No Lemons’ our websites are designed and built using advanced techniques that ensure the sites conform to W3C standards for XHTML coding, the correct use of CSS and WAI ‘double-A’ accessibility ratings.

We have special rates for charities and not-for-profit organisations, please call or email us.

Web Marketing (Part Two)

Part one of this series highlighted the importance of having a good website.

Equally important for small business is to have a consistent image. This does not mean spending two million pounds with a design consultancy. But having a decent logo design, clear strapline (see below) and message etc embodied in the website, business cards and stationary builds credibility and looks more professional … and need not be expensive.

A strapline is the short phrase that best describes your business. This could be your USP – unique selling point eg "24-hour mobile chiropractor - there to get you mobile."

And having a professionally printed postcard advertisement in your local library or shop should be complemented by a website in the same style, with the same message. This attention to detail shows that you take your business, and therefore your clients, seriously.
